現在為大家簡單說明 LifeType 如何設定 Sub Domain Name Blog 方法。
- Domain Name 申請及設定請參考 DynDNS.org Dynamic DNS 申請及設定教學 一文。
- 執行“開始”→“所有程式”→“Appserv”→“Apache Configue Server”→“Edit the Apache httpd.conf Configuration File”﹝如下以 Apperv v2.44a 為例﹞。
- 於頁尾加上以下文字。“DocumentRoot”是設定你的 LifeType 目錄位置，“ServerName”&“ServerAlias”的“apple.homedns.org”只是一個例子，請改成你的 Domain Name。
- 執行“開始”→“所有程式”→“Appserv”→“Service Control Server”→“Apache Restart”。
- 使 用管理帳號及密碼登入 LifeType，於“全部站台管控”→“全域設定”，於欄位“base_url”輸入你自定的 Domain Name ﹝例如：http://apple.homedns.org﹞，於欄位“subdomains_enabled”設定為『是』，於欄位 “subdomains_base_url”輸入 http://{username}.你的 Domain Name ﹝例如http://{username}.apple.homedns.org﹞，於欄位“include_blog_id_in_url”設定為 『否』，按『更新』。
這 樣 LifeType 的各使用者現在只需在 Lifetype Server Domain Name 前加上自己的 username 就可以進入自己的 Blog。例如：Mary 使用的 username 是 mary，現在她只需輸入 http://mary.apple.homedns.org/ 就可以進入她的 Blog。
